Embroidered clothing is very popular lately, especially jeans. Unfortunately, the prices of these outfits can get quite high so making your own embroidered jeans is the perfect solution, no sew needed!
You will be needing the following things:
- Iron-on Patches
- Marker or Chalk
- Muslin or Scrap Fabric
You can get iron-on patches from many different places of which the easiest ones are clothing stores. When getting patches you need to make sure that they are iron-on. If you can see a glossy surface on the back of your patch it means that it is fit. After you make sure of that you need to follow the following steps:
- Determine the placement of your patch.
- Place a pressing cloth over the patch.
- Your iron needs to be on the highest setting and you need to place of over the cloth.
- Check whether your patch is all set and iron down any missed spots.
Here is a video that will show you the process in even more detail.
All that is left now is rocking your DIY embroidered jeans on the streets!
