Leather leather leather. Possibly the best way to add a statement to a simplistic outfit.

I’ve had tight fitting leather trousers for a long time and never thought I’d be craving some jogger style ones but they are just, awesome. The only downfall is that they’re pretty damn expensive. My favourites from Neiman Marcus come in at £479.85… ouch.

When it comes to nails I’m a bit of a perfectionist. My own nails are pretty pathetic so I wear glue on ones most of the time. They make for a bigger nail bed and also stay in tact so there’s no chipping! Probably the biggest - and my favourite - nail trend at the moment is using a tone that’s almost skin coloured. There’s something so elegant and feminine about it. You can keep it matte or add a thin layer of sheer gloss as a top coat for a shine. Go for a shade slightly lighter than your skin tone to elongate and slim down your fingers.

A big clear out is looming. I feel like I need a re-vamp for this Summer and want to started wearing things less “classic”. I’ve had to wear a ring in my nose as I lost my stud so maybe that’s inspired my inner tomboy.

Double denim has been a controversial fashion topic for a long time but it’s starting to pop up all over the place. Patch-working different tones of denim adds a modern effect and stops the look becoming a blend of washed out blue. I’m trying to resist the urge to attack all my denim pieces with scissors, but I’m pretty sure it’s gonna happen!
